We want to thank Jennifer for all her hard work (and for her ongoing work on this Web site) and to welcome Marilyn as the Association’s new secretary. FlowersMany residents have added color to the neighborhood by planting annual flowers in beds and adding decorative pots to their patios and driveways. Please be considerate of your neighbors and do not pick their flowers! They’ve been planted for all to enjoy. Rules and RegulationsDuring the past few days, many residents received handwritten notes indicating that they were in violation of Association rules. These notes are not from the Board or the management company and should be disregarded. Management only communicates potential violations by phone or written letter. If you believe one of your neighbors is violating Association rules, please contact Taylor Management. Taylor representatives are familiar both with our rules and with the appropriate means of investigation and enforcement, and they are the only ones authorized to communicate violations. The Board of Morris Place is committed to fostering a friendly atmosphere in the community while ensuring that the property is well-maintained and safe, and that it retains a good property value. We encourage all residents to help us in this endeavor by following the rules and working directly with management or the Board if they have concerns. Refer to the Contacts section of the newsletter for Taylor's and the Board's contact information. BudgetJuly begins Morris Place’s fiscal year and implementation of a new budget. Transition from Matzel & Mumford, updated expenditure and budget data (including that needed for reserves and future upkeep), and higher-than-normal grounds maintenance last year (including snow removal) will result in an increase in your monthly maintenance fee. Please look out for more information in coming weeks and be sure to adjust automatic payments by your bank accordingly.
