Permitted Parking Areas of Morris Place

In an effort to improve the flow of traffic around Taft Lane, we have posted No Parking signs around the community and have had lines painted in the visitor/overflow parking areas.

Vehicles parked in the following non-designated areas will be towed at the vehicle owner's expense:

  • In front of the fire hydrant
  • In front of the mailboxes
  • Parallel parked along the curbside
  • Parallel parked in front of driveways

These places are marked with a red line on the map below.

Parking in Visitor Areas

Fact: There are 76 units at Morris Place, each with an average of 2 registered vehicles.
Fact: There are 32 parking spaces.

That doesn't leave much room for our guests.

Residents are required to park in garages and driveways. Residents with more than two vehicles must register their additional vehicle(s) for the right to use the special parking permit area (green on map above) on a permanent basis, or risk being fined.

The following vehicles risk being towed:

  • Resident vehicles parked in visitor parking areas
  • Non-resident vehicles parked in visitor parking areas on a regular basis
  • Vehicles without a special parking permit parked in the special permit parking areas
